this is a look at north beach here in san francisco. >> we can see some gusty wind in the hills. here's a look over above oakland today. paul, what does the rain really going to hit and how long will it stick around?>>> it is in the north bay now anlast, the soaking and steady rainfall will last three or four hours but it will be the next ours because the rain is finally moving on sure. we're watching it, heavy rain over the ocean next to us. marin county, lake county sonoma county steady and heavy rainfall. the red is rainfall at .5 inches per hour. that's pretty heavy and will put things in the time-lapse mode and show you the rain moving offshore into napa and solano county tonight before midnight. this will have wind before the hills and the coastline. it will be up to 50 miles per hour. it will take down some weaker trees. rougher than normal surf continuing tomorrow, this well will build up to 17 feet and 24 feet as the elevated range hence through the overnight hours. as soon as 7 am or 8 am we have scattered showers remaining but roads will be wet and a few scattered show
